Silo Art Trail...

Happy New Year...hopefully 2023 will be better than 2022, which quite frankly sucked...during the office Christmas/New Year shutdown I managed to do one thing I wanted to do that could be considered a holiday activity before going back to work tomorrow...on Thursday I went silo chasing along part the Wimmera Mallee Silo Art Trail...

First stop was Horsham...as soon as I turned the corner and saw the silo it was a wow moment...

Onwards to Goroke via Natimuk with Mt Arapiles coming ever closer...a short way along Natimuk-Frances Road is the Framing the View frame...

The silos at Goroke ...

Then as far west as my trip was taking me to Kaniva...

Kaniva also has a painted sheep trail to follow but I didn't have time to check that out this time...on the list for another day...it was time to head back east...

I detoured up to the Arkona silo...there were flood remediation roadworks so a little slower than otherwise, it was hot and I was getting tired and when I got there...I was rather underwhelmed...I just find this one a little strange but to each their own...

That was enough for one day and besides I needed to get to stitching group it being Thursday...so it was time to head straight back up the highway...

Happy Stitching...

I agree with you. That last silo was very different. I just find most of the so amazing and the sheer size of them is wonderful.

We love seeing the painted silos and hope to go down that way at some stage. Thanks for sharing. I agree that the last one is a little out there.

Wow moment indeed! I actually like the one you labeled as "weird". Do you mean the one with the invisible guy in it? I think it is kind of cool. I wonder what the artist was thinking.
