After the lovely morning wander my mission for the afternoon was to get inside one of the Art Deco buildings...the Roxy Theatre...restored and run by volunteers I was lucky to be in Leeton on a day when it open and showing a picture in the afternoon...there was an
opportunity not be be missed......it's beautiful on the outside...
The SunRice Festival was the week before (over Easter) and, as part of that, the windows of the theatre had been used to showcase miniatures of local buildings and history and the display hadn't been taken down yet...
The details everywhere...the picture was "Six The Musical Live"...a filmed live West End performance
of Six The Musical with the original cast...what a hoot! The perfect setting to show a West End musical...almost but not quite being at a live theatre show. Not a hard way to
spend a couple of hours!
Then inside...gorgeous!
