Friday
Night Sew-In for June and because the cold germs still haven't finished moving house (hurry up already!) I took the path of least resistance and kept on with the hexie garden building...
I flagged at 10pm Friday night (thanks cold germs very much) so I have "cheated" just a bit and used the "itistillFridaynightsomewhereintheworldextrasew-intime" and now I'm going with "itsSaturdaysomewhereintheworldputtinguptheblogposttime" and got in some extra stitchy time in between work events yesterday.
The night started out like this...
lots of hexie flower "seeds" and a small pile of "flower heads"
and now the flowers have grown to this...
less "seeds" and more "flower heads"...getting there...

Sit & sew at the hall today wit Kilmore Quilters and Rosie is coming across today to play...yay! play day :) The hexie flowers have indicated a reluctance to leave the house so better go find something to sew so I don't just do the sit part!
Hope your Sunday (or Saturday in the other hemisphere) is stitchy...
Happy Stitching...

I like your train of thought about it still being Friday night somewhere in the world! Must remember that. Your hexies are looking great.
Beautiful hexies. Sending light and love that the germs will vacate the premises right away. ;)
xx

I had a hexie kind of week too..Im flagging at the moment because I need to get to the quilt store to get some more templates (too lazy to make them up myself )
Your hexies look gorgeous and I;d say your FNSI and SSI (Saturday sew in ) were quite the success!
love your flower garden. A very productive extended fnsi!
Lovely flowers in your garden.
Another stitchy kind of day - Enjoy the sitting, and sewing.
Love, love, love your flowers! Well done on extending Friday night, we should all be so clever. Hope you have a lovely "play-all-day" day today!
Visiting from FNSI and I love your flowers! Its such a shame about your cold and I hope you are feeling much better real soon.
What a lovely funny post! The hexies are very pretty, even the cold germs could not keep you from stitching... I hope you are back to 100% very soon...
Great Hexagons. I love pink ones. I too have a cold and keep blog hopping not sewing much today.
Beautiful flowers Jindy.
Pink flower garden is so great! All the best to you,Annette:-)
Maybe instead of a cold it is allergies due to all those flowers!
