Small Finishes...

A couple of small finishes this week...first up...one night after work this week the choice was the ironing or...
...make a fabric basket...no contest really...

Christmas Eve my mixer decided it would be a good idea to drop dead right while I was baking biscuits...good one mixer...so I inherited the mother's big version and with it came a cover that was a good 40 years old and well past its use by date...after pulling it apart to get a template and finding some cute Debbie Mumm fabric in the stash the big mixer now has new pyjamas...
No way to make a mixer cover photogenic really.

Yay! two more April OPAM finishes.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Happy Stitching...

Cute fabric on the mixer cover- do you make for friends??? LOL.
Love your little fabric basket, especially the fabric in the handles and the base. Gorgeous.
Two good finishes.

smart choice ditching the ironing and the mixer cover looks great, very slimming really. Basket looks great too.

Glad I didn't come here right after visiting Kris - I would have thought the bugs moved house.
Glad the mixer will be warm and cozy this winter.
Very cute basket, much better than ironing!

Im glad the mixer was wearing pyjamas for that shot. There's nothing more shocking than a naked mixer. I like the pyjamas though.

Ive been known to do all sorts of things to avoid ironing. Now I can add fabric basket making to the list !
